The Santa Barbara County Green Business Program is thrilled to announce an exciting new initiative designed to bring the local business community together while fostering sustainability: our Business-to-Business (B2B) Sponsorship Program. This innovative program creates opportunities for businesses to financially support sustainability upgrades or projects for others in need. Together, we can share responsibility, amplify measurable impact, and strengthen our community ties.

How It Works

The B2B Sponsorship Program offers businesses the chance to sponsor sustainability projects for other businesses. Contributions can be financial, in-kind, or a combination of both, tailored to meet the needs of both sponsors and recipients.

We offer flexible, year-round sponsorship levels to accommodate your preferences. Whether you’re interested in supporting a specific project, co-branding a sustainability initiative, or sponsoring an event, we’re happy to explore custom partnership opportunities.

Examples of Eligible Projects

Your sponsorship can fund impactful sustainability projects, such as:

• LED Lighting Upgrades

• Lighting Controls

• EV Chargers

• Smart Thermostats

• Heat Pump Water Heater Replacements

• Electric Bikes

• Electric Vehicles

• Solar-Powered Batteries

• Energy-Efficient Appliances

We also welcome proposals for projects beyond the examples above, such as:

Green Guru: $600 Tier

Efficiency Expert: $1,200 Tier

Everything in the $600 tier, plus:

• Invitation to attend a ribbon-cutting or installation event with media coverage

• Opportunity to feature your logo on installed items, such as bike racks or recycling bins, as a co-branding partner

• Listing in the 2025 annual report to stakeholders as a major contributor

• 1 press release highlighting the benefit you provided

Conservation Captain: $2,400+ Tier

Everything in the $1,200 tier, plus:

• Exclusive sponsorship highlight during the annual recognition event

• Personalized media opportunities, such as an interview or feature story on your support

• Priority access to program partnership opportunities

• 5 complimentary tickets to our recognition event
