How Do I Get Certified?

Step 1

Registration

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your company! Katey will reach out via email, and help you complete the application process.

Step 2

Site Visit

Schedule an on-site or virtual visit to review your certification checklist. We will do a walk through of your business to help you identify which checklist measures you are already satisfying and provide you with tips and resources to satisfy remaining measures.

Step 3

Compliance Updates

Work to green your business location and practices to meet the remaining certification checklist items identified in the site visit. Continue to reach out to Katey for assistance, or to ask questions as they arise in the greening process.

Step 4

Compliance Verification

Once you believe your business has satisfied all of the items on its checklist, contact your program administrator to set up another site visit. We will come do another tour of your business location to ensure you are meeting all the measures.

Step 5

Certification

Once we have verified that you are meeting all of your checklist measures, you will have officially earned your Green Business Certification! Your business will be listed on the CAGBN business directory, receive acces to exclusive marketing materials and be promoted in our program's marketing and colateral.
