Green Business certification is a great way to show your community that you share their environmental values. Since 2002, the County of Marin has partnered with over 300 local businesses to help reduce their environmental impacts. Certified Green Businesses follow guidelines for energy and water conservation, pollution prevention, waste management, toxics reduction, employee commute, and education. Our staff will support you through the process and connect you will all the resources you'll need to get certified. This program is free for Marin County businesses.
