However, businesses are encouraged to develop their own measures and ways to become green without sacrificing their competitive edge. The application allows businesses to submit these other measures for consideration.

The program is not designed to burden businesses with unrealistic and illogical criteria. We want the business to optimize its operating efficiencies and develop creative, workable green measures.
