On April 18th, 2023, the Carlsbad City Council presented a proclamation recognizing the newly certified Carlsbad Green Business enrrolled in the Carlsbad Green Business, for their contributions to the city’s climate and sustainability goals. 

Following the proclamation, during a private mixer held at Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation, twelve locations were honored for completing the necessary steps to become fully certified. Several other businesses are in the process of completing these requirements.
