The Carlsbad Green Program recently partnered with the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce to host a Lunch and Learn event, bringing together local business owners and leaders eager to learn how sustainability certification can work for them. The event provided a relaxed, informative setting to explore the program's benefits, walk through the certification process, and answer questions in real time.

Attendees got an up-close look at the certification checklist - the step-by-step guide that helps businesses understand exactly what's needed to earn their green credentials. Program staff and partners were on hand to guide interested businesses through the process, and for those ready to commit, enrollment was available right then and there.

A special thank you to our speakers William Jarrett from Aptera, Chris Cochran from the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, and Samantha Richter from Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation - for sharing their experiences with the certification process and helping demonstrate just how seamless and accessible the program can be for Carlsbad businesses.
