City of Long Beach
Green Business Program

Join the Green Business Community!

Green Business certification is a great way to show your community that you share their environmental values. Since 2018, the City of Long Beach has partnered with over 50 local businesses to help reduce their environmental impacts. Certified Green Businesses follow guidelines for energy and water conservation, pollution prevention, waste management, employee commute, and community education. Our staff will support you through the process and connect you with all the resources you'll need to get certified. This program is free for all Long Beach businesses.

Britny was amazing throughout the certification process. With weekly phone calls and encouragement, we were able to break up the checklist into manageable chunks. We are happy to contribute to the sustainability efforts in Long Beach and encourage other businesses to become green certified!

Sustainability has been a part of our mission statement and business since day one, from the products we sell to the practices we have in place day to day. The Green Business program helped give us the perfect guidelines we needed to take the final steps to being as green as possible.

We understand that careless human activity has devastating consequences for marine life and our climate. Making sustainable choices is apart of our everyday life, so of course, it is top of mind when it comes to making business decisions.
